Mission
StatEMENT
The purpose of the Friendship Quilt Guild shall be to provide a community for local quilters of all ages to join together to share ideas, to educate, and to contribute to Brenham and the surrounding communities.
The monthly meetings serve as an outreach to the community. The guild works to preserve the heritage of quilting, promote the knowledge and understanding of all aspects of quilting, and provide opportunities for continuing education among those interested in the art of quilting.
Since 2005 the guild is organized and operates for educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 or the corresponding provisions of any subsequent United States revenue law.
