A trunk show consisting of about 35 quilts . Discussion about color combinations, special techniques used, design changes, and quilting pattern designs to enhance the quilt.

'WHEN TRADITION AND TECHNOLOGY CONVERGE"
A trunk show illustrating the technique Margaret uses to create her portrait/pictorial quilts. She combines computers and cloth to produce truly realistic portrait art quilts. Hundreds of tiny pieces of fabric are sewn together and thread painted to create works of art.

Program: A variety trunk show with over sixty finished and unfinished quilts ranging from small (5") to King Size Bed Quilts.
Workshop: Bettie introduces a new and unique way of piecing with freezer paper. The method does not require picking off all those tiny, tiny little pieces. When finished with the block, just pull off the whole paper block and re-use it up to 30 or 40 times.Bettie Hammack cataberry@suddenlink.net
